The Elsie Hillman Honors Scholars Program is designed to connect motivated and creative students with community partners and a faculty mentor in the Pittsburgh region for the purpose of developing original, student led civic engagement projects that explore and address issues important to the community partner and reflect the social commitment of Elsie Hillman. Internship and Seminar - Deadline March 13

This interdisciplinary program is designed to provide students with first-hand experience working with local, state, and federal elected officials involved in the policy-making process for the Pittsburgh region. The Elsie Hillman Civic Forum partners with the Political Science Department and College of General Studies to offer this 4-credit, letter-graded course in both the Fall and Spring Term. Read more »

The Never a Spectator campus event is a unique opportunity for Pitt students to network with some of the region’s most prominent leaders.
